Life

So things were moving right along for GPi in 2008. We were in the process of moving into our new shop, we picked up a full time mechanic and started working on fabricating custom accessories. Things were going good but life seems to have a funny way of balancing the good with the bad. On December 24th 2008 our mother (Bonnie Carney) was admitted back into the hospital and passed away on the 26th after an 8 year battle with breast cancer.

We normally keep personal matters private but unfortunately due to the magnatude of the situation it has effected GPi over the past few weeks. Normal operations are now resuming but we just wanted to explain to our valued customers the situation and thank everbody in the community for their support through this difficult time.

Mini Truck Service Manuals

Subaru Service Manual

Suzuki Carry Service ManualFor those who are unaware a gentleman by the name of James Danko has translated the manufacturers service manuals to English for us all to enjoy.

For the patient and internet savy you can order these books directly from his publishing service lulu.com. Here is the link for the Subaru Sambar service manual and the Suzuki Carry service manual. I say for the patient because the lulu.com service doesn't print the books until they are ordered. The entire ordering process seems to take about a month by the time you place your order and have the service manual in your hand. We try to keep several in stock for those who need them now.

The quality of the books is better than nothing but not really comparable to modern service manuals. The organization could be a bit better and don't expect to find a bunch of part numbers you can cross reference down at your local mega parts store.

Agri-Trade 2008

Mini trucks are ideally suited for life on the farm, which is why we are featuring a few of our mini trucks at this years Agri-Trade show in Red Deer. We're not sure exactly which of our current in-stock mini trucks will be making the trip, but there will be a few of our Subaru Sambars and Suzuki Carrys for you to check out at our outdoor booth.

Please visit the Agri-Trade website for information regarding hours of operation and our advertisement in the show guide.

See you there! Smile
